Place the mesh with the Align panel — pick “Dollhouse mesh” in its Scan dropdown; the 🖐 gizmo, ⊹ 3-point and 👁 Solo all work on it. Up axis is +Z (MatterPak).
X-ray
One horizontal plane per level, through BOTH layers: the mesh is clipped here and — while “same height as the mesh” is ticked below — so is the house splat. Heights are mesh-local metres above the ground slab.
Splat cut (horizontal, footprint only)
A horizontal cut through the house splat, applied ONLY where the Matterport mesh is: the hollow clears everything inside the outline, and this takes down the splat's own exterior walls and eaves — everything within the reach outside the outline and above the cut height. The barn, the guest wing and the walled court are outside the footprint, so they keep their roofs. Untick “same height as the mesh” to drive the splat plane on its own (each level keeps its own height); slide the reach to the end for “everywhere”. Off when the X-ray is off.
In-law suite cut
The gatehouse's own plane and edge — mesh-local metres, its slab sits at −0.6. Its eaves overhang a small plan, so its reach wants to be wider than the house's.
Cut contour line
Interior shave (per side)
Shrinks the house outline inward on each side (mesh axes — the house is placed with heading 0, so these are true compass sides) and hides mesh outside it: strips the exterior wall skin and eaves so you look at the interior itself. Each edge of the outline uses the shave of the direction it faces. 0 = off.
“Roof off” hides the high-res splat above the chosen floor's ceiling and clips the mesh just below that (the inset keeps floor plates from poking past the fuzzy splat edge). Measured floors: ground slab 0.0 · ground ceiling ≈3.06 · upper plate 3.55 · top 8.8 (mesh metres).
Cleanup
Erase: click a stray fragment (window/door artefacts) — everything inside a sphere disappears; stack several, Undo the last. Hide atlas: click any part to hide its whole texture atlas — handy for exterior sweeps that got their own atlas. Both bake with Copy full config.
